Cockroaches are often attracted to homes by food crumbs, grease, moisture, standing water, and cluttered hiding areas. They can enter through cracks, drains, vents, pipes, or even inside boxes and bags brought indoors.

Changes in weather, nearby construction, or sanitation issues can also increase cockroach activity and lead to sudden infestations.
